Orange County – January 29 – Today, even more local elected officials announced their endorsements for Orange County Sheriff candidate Dave Harrington, adding to a long list of local community leaders. Harrington’s campaign has achieved an unprecedented level of community support, including dozens of local elected officials and community leaders.
The new elected officials who announced were:
Mayor Buena Park
Councilmember, Laguna Hills
Former Mayor, Buena Park
Director, Moulton Niguel Water District.
Seal Beach City Council
Laguna Hills City Council
Victoria Vaughn said, “I'm happy to support Dave Harrington to be the next Sheriff of Orange County. Dave has 29 years of experience at the Department and has proven to be a great leader as Mayor of Aliso Viejo. Most importantly Dave is a change to, "It's the way we've always done it" attitude that tends to permeate large agencies. I believe Dave will bring the reforms necessary to make the department a better partner to cities, the residents and other law enforcement agencies.”
Harrington said, “Getting local elected leaders behind me means everything, these are the people on the ground in our communities that truly understand what their communities need and expect from their law enforcement leaders. I sincerely appreciate all the support.”
