HARRINGTON IS THE CLEAR FAVORITE AMONG LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS

Orange County — December 4 — Another round of endorsements puts Harrington as the clear favorite of who local elected leaders prefer to be their next Sheriff. Dave is recognized as the candidate who can lead a reform agenda and guide the Orange County Sheriff’s Department out of its current state marred by scandal. They trust in Dave’s ability to keep us safe and bring dangerous criminals to trial with fairness and transparency.

The latest local elected officials who came out last week supporting Dave Harrington’s campaign for Sheriff include:

Honorable Beth Swift
Mayor, Buena Park

Honorable Craig Green City
Councilman, Placentia

Honorable Frank Ury
Former Mayor, Mission Viejo

Honorable John Mark Jennings
Councilman, Laguna Niguel

Honorable Barbara Kogerman
Councilwoman, Laguna Hills

Honorable Deborah Pauly
Former Councilwoman, City of Villa Park
Member, Advisory Board, National Law Enforcement Charitable Foundation, Inc.

When asked why Harrington is garnering so much support, John Mark Jennings, Laguna Niguel councilman said, “As public servants, our first priority must always be to provide a safe environment for our communities while treating our offices with dignity and deference for the people we serve. Nothing less is acceptable and we must do all that is necessary to earn the trust of our residents. It is for those reasons that I am honored to support my friend David Harrington for Orange County Sheriff. With an exemplary commitment to public safety and his dedication to the people of Aliso Viejo, David is a the type of person we need in public office and has the experience we deserve.”

Dave’s response, “All the support I’ve been getting makes me want to work harder and give our cities and citizens a Sheriff’s department we can be proud of, I’m excited about the momentum of the campaign and will work hard to see it through to victory.”
